This Privacy Policy explains how Dual Recorder (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our dual-lens video recording application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and designed the App to keep your content on your own device.

Summary: Dual Recorder does not collect, sell, or transmit your personal data or your recordings to our servers. Photos and videos you capture stay on your device and in your own Photo Library.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or location. Your videos, photos, and audio recordings are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us.

2. Device Permissions We Use

Camera: Required to record video and capture photos using the front and rear lenses (including simultaneous dual-lens / picture-in-picture capture).
Microphone: Required to record audio together with your video.
Photo Library: Required to save your recordings to your device and, if you choose, to import existing media for editing.

These permissions are used only to provide the App’s core functionality. You may grant or revoke them at any time in the iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.

3. Where Your Content Is Stored

All recordings and edited outputs are stored locally on your device and/or in your Apple Photo Library, under your control. Deleting the App or the media removes that content from your device. We have no access to it.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

Dual Recorder offers optional in-app purchases, including an auto-renewable weekly subscription and a one-time lifetime unlock. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may share limited, non-identifying transaction information with us to validate your entitlement (managed by Apple’s StoreKit and receipt system). 5. Network Access

The App may make a lightweight network request to a public time reference in order to keep certain time-based features accurate. This request contains no personal data and is not used for tracking or advertising.

6. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties. The App does not embed third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs that identify you. The only third party involved in the payment flow is Apple, as described above.

7. Tracking

Dual Recorder does not track you across apps or websites and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Rights

Because your content stays on your device, you retain full control. You can delete any recording at any time, and revoke camera, microphone, or photo access through iOS Settings. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored App data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
