This Privacy Policy explains how Amorykey ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the limited data the App processes. By using Amorykey, you agree to the practices described below.
Amorykey is an AI-assisted messaging companion. It helps you craft chat replies and expressive messages, offers an in-app companion chat experience, and provides a custom keyboard extension for generating replies directly inside other apps. The App does not require account registration and does not maintain user profiles on our servers.

Important: To generate replies, polish messages, and understand screenshots, the content you provide is transmitted to a third-party AI provider for processing. We do not use this content for any purpose other than returning a result to you.
When you actively request AI generation, the following may be sent to our AI provider:
AI Provider: Alibaba Cloud DashScope (the Qwen model service). This data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and processed to return generated text to you. We do not send this data to any other party. Please refer to Alibaba Cloud's privacy terms for how they process data on their platform.
Character illustration images used inside the companion feature are loaded from our content delivery domain and do not involve uploading your personal data.
Amorykey includes a custom keyboard extension. To generate replies, the keyboard needs "Full Access" (network permission).
Amorykey offers auto-renewable subscriptions. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Subscription status is verified via Apple's StoreKit and stored locally on your device.
When you attach a screenshot or image, the App uses the system photo picker. We access only the specific images you choose; we do not scan or read your photo library. Selected images are used solely for the AI to understand and respond to their content, as described in Section 4.
Data transmitted to the AI provider is sent over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Locally stored data is protected by the device's standard iOS data protection. Because we do not operate user accounts or central servers holding your personal content, the attack surface for your data is minimized.

Amorykey is not directed to children under the age of 17 and contains mature, romance-oriented conversational content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
